Andreoli Integrates Online Appointment Scheduler With Point-of-Sale Software

Cornelius, NC (June 6, 2011)– Point-of-sale software developer, Andreoli & Associates, Inc. (A&A) announced today that they have completed an integration project with www.MyAutoServiceAppointments.com to provide integrated online appointment scheduling for tire and automotive services.

Mike Andreoli of A&A stated, “Retail customers of dealers using our HITS® BPOS point-of-sale software can now book appointments on-line for oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and other fixed-time auto services and preventative maintenance. Those appointments are then transferred from the on-line system to the point-of-sale software and integrated in with existing in-shop appointments.”

The integrated solution is already in use at Upton Tire Pros, a five location retailer in Jackson, MS, who assisted with the integration and field testing. Owner, Mike Upton, comments, “We are thrilled with the results thus far. Recently, we had 17 appointments booked online for a single day for our busiest location.”

Mark Jones of www.MyAutoServiceAppointment.com stressed the value to a dealer’s operation, “It can be very frustrating for a consumer to get a busy signal or be put on hold when all they want to do is make an appointment for a routine automotive service such as an oil change.” Mike Upton sees it as more than just alleviating frustration, “The system empowers our customers and emphasizes our commitment to being focused on their needs.”

According to Andreoli, a key to Upton Tire’s success with the new integration has been their “all in” attitude and commitment to the system. Upton concurs, “We promote a ‘Book Online’ slogan on all marketing materials, invoices, and advertising. We limit the number of online appointments, which enables us to guarantee that we will have the customer in the shop within 10 minutes. Customers tell us that the “10 minute guarantee in-the-shop” enables them to better schedule their time and is a key enticement to booking online.”
Cost to add the online scheduling module for a single location is less than $99 a month. To Mike Upton the cost pales in comparison to the many benefits. As he puts it, “It’s a no brainer. The perception alone of being a progressive dealer is worth every penny.”
